It seems likely that we will run out of fossil fuel for our cars in the not too distant future as reserves of these fossil fuels rapidly diminish. Our society is almost completely dependent on fossil fuels to run our cars, trucks, planes, cargo boats and so on. The process of phasing out gas-powered cars has already started as more and more bio-diesel, electric and hybrid cars enter the market to replace the old. Solar and wind energy can be stored in batteries and used to power electric cars. Resources for Alternative Energy Power are available for us and we need to make the decision to go green and replace the old sources. Self-sufficiency in matters of energy is a wonderful thing to aspire towards.
