My wife and I are pretty proud that we have been able to plan a good monthly budget and stick to it.  It all started when we got married. We got a joint bank account because we wanted to share everything.  Then we got this personal budget software that a friend of ours recommended.  It really works wonders for us because we can clearly see how much money we make every month, how much we spend on groceries and other essentials, and anything else that we spend.  It’s really helped us crack down on unnecessary spending, which has been huge for us.
