My son was turning fourteen and really loved winter sports. He had been skiing for two years already and was really good at it. He wanted to try snowboarding. My husband and I had agreed that it was a good age to try it out. We bought him a snowboard jacket and a snowboard. My husband had made plans to take him up to the mountains for the weekend for lessons. When they came back on the Sunday, my son was so excited. He was telling me how great he was doing. My husband was impressed at how quickly he picked things up for being so young!
