A few years ago I was volunteered to be a team mother to a girl’s softball team.  That meant I did not have to coach, which I cannot do anyway, but I did have to make sure everyone got uniforms and were on schedule.  It seemed like an easy job until one day I realized the first game was a week away and the team’s custom tube socks had not shipped.  I quickly went online and ordered replacements.  The day of the fame everyone looked fantastic and we even won.  However, I decided that would be my last year as a team Mom – or team anything.
