Whenever I go on a trip and leave my kids for the weekend, I like to bring them each a little something to make up for not having mom for awhile. It makes them more excited about me going and kind of gives them something to look forward to. For my older son, I might bring him a neat fishing fly for his collection. The girls like trinkets and fun little baubles. The little ones are easy. They will be happy with practically anything I bring. Looking for these items also makes my trip more fun and reminds me of home. It’s a great tradition for us all.
