Everyone Should Play an Instrument
I don’t come from a musical family but somehow grew up loving music anyway. By the time my children were in school I was convinced that everyone should play an instrument. My son is now an adult and plays the piano and my daughter has mastered the cello. Even my non-musical husband was impressed enough to buy a guitar lesson dvd. The entire family gets together often to both make and write music. When life gets hectic and pulls us apart, the music calms us down and gives us something that we all have in common and can enjoy together.
