My best friend Reba is spending a lot of time consulting with the divorce attorney in Hartford that she has hired to represent her. He is being very thorough, and has asked her to bring in a lot of documents and paperwork pertaining to the assets that she and her husband own. The attorney wants to make sure everything is divided fairly. He also want to be sure that Reba’s children are adequately provided for, both now and for future plans such as college.
