We had no floor space in our bathroom.  When the house was built they had installed the fixtures but in doing so had made it impossible for two people to get by each other without pressing into the sink.  We knew we had to do small bathroom remodeling to survive in there.   One of the things that we thought might be possible was to put in a smaller shower stall.  It was custom built and stuck out nearly five foot into the room.  By reducing the width to four feet we would still have room to shower and would then have two way traffic too.
