Let’s face it, things are a bit tougher this year with the economy the way it is. Even if the current financial crisis has not yet affected your own family, it seems prudent to look for ways to cut costs and save a few bucks in case the rainy days come. This year more than ever I am trying to remember that Christmas is about the joy of giving and not about how much we spend. So I have spent quite a bit of time going over my holiday gift list in order to make my holiday budget go as far as possible, and the truth is that not only did I save money but I enjoyed my Christmas shopping more this year than I have in a long time.
