The Book of Mormon is often very touching, but other times it is just flat out amusing as it describes the behaviors of people today, such as those who preach against our church. To be specific, there are verses that talk about people who are shouting that we don’t need any more Bible because we already have a Bible. I can’t even count how many times I’ve heard that. And still, it makes no sense to me. We need God today more than ever to help us through this life. The Book of Mormon is another thing that helps us prepare for the Second Coming.

The United States was among the first to use satellites as part of their working environment.  Satelite Images have been useful for many diverse reasons.  The government uses them in the military and in warfare.  The farmers in my area can use this imagery to help them plant their crops exactly as they need to as well as monitor how well each field is doing.  In the past, these things would have to be done manually by walking each field.  Time and precision are just a couple of the ways that have been improved upon using satellites.  We all know that saving time and being more efficient in our work environment is beneficial to everyone.

When you have an ill family member and spend a lot of time in the hospital, you find yourself being quite observant in your free time.  Have you ever wondered why there are dishwashers located in various places throughout a hospital?  I sure have.  It just didn’t quite make sense to me.  I mean, how many dishes could they possibly need to wash when there is a huge cafeteria on the main floor?  Finally, after seeing a sign on one in the hospital lobby that read used autoclaves for sale, I decided to ask.  It seems these dishwashers are indeed called autoclaves and they are used to sterilize equipment and supplies.
