When I got my first saxophone which is a selmer mark vi, I was so confused if I wanted to use it or just preserve it so that it wouldn’t have any scratch on its perfect design. Learning how to do magic is something I have always enjoyed learning and attempting to do ever since I was a small boy.  You could say that I found my inspiration one day when I was watching the television as a child and I saw this london magician get up on a stage and start doing a show.  It wasn’t anything super fancy like some magicians do these days, but it was quite a show for a young boy like me to see.  It was fantastic and started me on the path of learning how to do magic on my own.

I totally love songs that are funny. I’m a huge fan of Flight of the Conchords and Hard n’ Phirm. It’s like a whole new thing in comedy to do funny songs. Being a girl, I like songs by girls the best. I love Sarah Silverman’s, “I F*#-ed Matt Damon.” I also like this girls funny songs, too.

I am thinking of writing some of my own silly songs, but I’m getting kind of stuck trying to think of something funny. Lol. I guess that’s the hard part. Hey if you have any ideas, I’ll be sure to post the song if I write it.

I am trying to decide what type of tattoo to get.  There are so many different choices.  I could get something like a grim reaper tattoo.  I think that would be pretty cool.  Or even a Celtic cross as I have a lot of Irish in me.  Its such a hard choice for someone like me.  I spend so much time debating almost every decision I make, and a tattoo being a permanent thing has really got me confused.  I know I want one, but there are so many I like.  And I don’t want to really get more than one.  Maybe two.

I provide day care for children at my home.  One of the biggest challenges I face is to find ways to keep the children entertained.  By entertained, I don’t mean sit them in front of the TV for the entire day.  We spend time outdoors if the weather permits, read to the kids, play games, and work on arts and craft projects.  It can be difficulty to find arts and craft ideas suitable for young children, but I found several excellent books at a store that caters to teachers.  Some of their favorite projects are finger painting and working with clay.  They have made masks from paper plates, and it is surprising the number of items that can be made using empty cardboard paper towel rolls.  I enjoy seeing the look of satisfaction on their faces when they complete a project all by themselves.

We were wrapping up for the day and Kevin called me into his office. At first I thought something was wrong, but it turned out he wanted me to watch videos of the open house he was working on. It’s funny how formal everything was at the beginning of the night and how loose everybody got before it was all over.

The new camera did a pretty good job too. I think I’ll still use the little Cannon for most things, but the HD stuff is kind of cool. Just takes a lot longer to convert before we even get around to editing.

I really am not all that clear about the laws regarding music downloads. However, I really don’t want to get into trouble for this, so I want to make sure that I don’t do anything illegal. A friend just got a free Ares download and suggested that I do the same. Can anyone tell me if this is a legal way to download music? It sounds like it would be a great way to get access to tons of new music without having to spend a lot of money, but I am worried that I could get into trouble if I do this.
