I went down to my local organic food mart the other day and asked the guy in charge of the supplements section if they had something called Resveratrol.  all it is is the isolated component of red wine that doctors and other scientists are saying is so beneficial to humans. The guy was surprised that I wanted to buy resveratrol and asked me where I had heard about it, and why I thought his store would carry it. He asked me with an attitude, so I followed up by telling him all about the French paradox and that if he knew what was good for them he would try and drink a few bottles of red wine himself.
