Late last Fall, we acquired a puppy.  The kids had been clamoring for one for some time.  So, the plan was to get the puppy potty trained before really bad weather in Winter.  That way, we could just let the dog out and not have to go with him.  There were a few accidents, but we cleaned them up really quick.  All through the Winter and Spring, we thought we had done well.  Then when Summer came, we started smelling something.  We discovered the puppy had been peeing in the corner of the girls’ room.  We had to search phone books online to find a professional cleaner to come clean the carpet. 

After all there seems to be an infinite number of government programs out there that are meant to help the small guy like you and me. Perhaps this is possible. But I would think with the poor credit of a foreclosure that it would really hurt your chances. Should this be an option you consider before you get into a foreclosure? It is just not possible in my opinion to be able to refinance while house is in foreclosure. Of course I could be wrong.

I have been dating Amy for the past six months. We met at Disneyland while working at the Pirates of the Caribbean ride together. We enjoyed one another’s company so much we started dating. Last night my mother surprised us all by announcing that she was going to have a baby. She was both happy and a little scared of this future event. One thing was for sure, we were all going to help her out. There were a lot of decisions to be made about the baby nursery decoration. My mother wanted it just right. We started out by moving all the furniture out of the spare bedroom. We then removed all of the old carpeting. We then painted the room in a nice light blue. We hung some wall art. My mother was also given a couple of nice coordinated lamps.

My parents are thinking of moving out to Los Angeles to enjoy their retirement.  Home prices are still high in Southern California so they are thinking about buying a fixer and then hiring Los Angeles contractors to help them create the retirement home of their dreams.  I never imagined my parents would go “Hollywood” but they are tickled about the idea of living in the sunshine and spotting movie stars in their grocery store.  I’m excited that they are making the move.  They’ll need to make sure their remodeling job is one that will accommodate them as they progress in years so it should be equipped with handicap features.  What an adventure!

I have been meaning to start up a new kind of thing online.  I have had a few different ideas on what to do, but I have eventually narrowed it down to one thing.  I am going to start one of those Christmas Forums.  I know it sounds a bit odd coming from a lumber jack who doesn’t seem to be the sentimental type.  However, Christmas has always been my kind of holiday.  This will be a way for me to express all of my joy, and at the same time see what other people think about the holiday that I love so much.
