On our recent trip to George which is situated in the Western Cape, we hired a vehicle from george car rental to enable us easy travelling around the surrounding area.  One of the activities which we tried was Quad biking in one of the nearby game reserves.  What was so enjoyable about this experience is being able to learn more about the area, with the help of our guide.  He was so patient and kind with explaining all the details such as the flora and fauna of the area.  He took us on the historic route which is a National Museum, as well as a portion of the Outeniqua mountain range.  It was a morning very well spent.

For my birthday last week my girlfriend surprised me by giving me a new laptop. My old laptop was working fine despite the fact that the number one key was stuck. I like my new laptop because the screen is over 17 inches long. I also like the fact that it has Windows XP opposed to Windows Vista. In addition to the laptop my girlfriend purchased me a brand-new laptop messenger bag. It was a nice bag that had two large zippered pockets. I’m very happy about the operating system because I can now run some of the software that I have wanted to run.

Well it appears that finally we’re going to be able to get an iPhone from Verizon. In our computer repair office we use Verizon for our phones in our Atlanta Laptop repair office and we’ve had talks every now and again that we wanted to move over to AT&T just because of the iPhone. Well it looks like now we have our chance. 

Verizon reportedly will get an iPhone lite for all it’s iPhone fans. Initially Verizon was the providor of choice for Apple but Verizon wouldn’t play under Apple’s rules. Now, I think they realize they made a mistake. So, even though we’re not going to get the full blown iPhone, at least we’re getting something. 

My aunt recently moved to North Carolina and she sells poodle puppies.  She is very careful with the dogs and makes sure they are kept in a very clean environment.  They have clean water, fresh food and vitamins every day.  When she advertises them in the paper or on online she gives information on crate training puppys.  She makes sure they are at least partially trained before anyone purchases them.  This is the best way for a new pet owner to train their new friend so they will have a good beginning. I asked her if she has any black poodles because I am looking for one.

Last Christmas I bought my husband an antique model train set as a gift.  He had just the set he bought to get started in this new hobby.  We used our old pig pong table from when the kids were younger to set up his first set.  I thought it would be fun for him to set up another one that looked reaally old. When we set it up Christmas night, we noticed the horn was gone.  John got out his train magazines and found an ad in the back that said “train horns for sale.”  After the holidays were over, he called the number in the ad, and before a week went by, the train horn came in the mail.
